01 · The Business
Who they are, and how they trade.
Keep Calm and Beer IT is a Leamington Spa pub serving a well-kept range of drinks in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. It’s a local where regulars and visitors come to unwind, busiest across evenings and weekends. As part of an independently run pub group, keeping equipment costs down and making everyday spending work harder both matter.
Pubs live on busy evenings and weekends, so quick payments at the bar and a connection that holds up when the place is full matter more than almost anything else.
02 · The Challenge
What was quietly going wrong.
The pub wanted to end terminal rental fees on its previous Dojo arrangement and own its machines outright, rather than paying indefinitely for equipment it never owned. Earning cashback on its everyday spending was also an attraction. Cutting recurring costs while getting a little back was the aim.
What mattered most. Lower costs, no terminal rental and cashback on the business account, backed by local support that is easy to reach around the clock.
03 · The Switch
Teya, with NEOM handling the move.
NEOM moved them to Teya, removing the rental fees through owned terminals and adding 0.5% cashback through the Teya business account on day-to-day spending. That turns a routine cost into a small ongoing return. Overall the switch cut their card processing costs by around 30%, backed by local 24/7 support whenever the bar is busy.
