01 · The Business
The business behind the numbers.
HMV Empire is a Coventry music venue and bar hosting live events, gigs and club nights across the city’s music scene. It serves music fans and event-goers, with trade spiking sharply around shows and late nights. At a busy venue the bar has to serve high volumes fast, so payment speed and reliability are critical.
Venues take most of their money in a few packed hours, so speed at the bar and terminals that never drop out are what protect the night’s takings.
02 · The Challenge
The costs that never got reviewed.
On Dojo, the venue needed dependable reliability and faster transactions to cope with intense bar service during events. When hundreds of people want serving at once, a slow or dropped terminal creates long queues and lost bar sales. Keeping the bar moving at events was essential.
What mattered most. Reliable connectivity and faster transactions, backed by local support that is easy to reach around the clock.
03 · The Switch
Rapyd, chosen on fit.
NEOM moved them to Rapyd with reliable, fast card payments built for the high volumes of a live-music night, so the bar keeps serving quickly even at peak. That protects bar takings during the busiest moments. The switch also cut their card processing costs by around 30%, with local 24/7 support on hand whenever needed.
