01 · The Business
The business behind the numbers.
JFK in the Community is a Coventry sports and social club with a club bar, serving its members and the surrounding community. It acts as a hub for local sport, events and socialising, bringing people together throughout the week and at weekends. As a community organisation rather than a commercial operator, keeping costs low and avoiding being locked into rigid commitments really matters.
Clubs like this are usually run by a small team, so low running costs and takings that are easy to account for matter just as much as speed at the bar.
02 · The Challenge
The costs that never got reviewed.
On Worldpay, the club wanted flexibility and freedom from a fixed contract, since committing a community club to long, inflexible terms sits uneasily with how it’s run. It also wanted to end terminal rental and get quicker access to funds from bar takings and events. Predictable, low-commitment costs were the priority for an organisation that reinvests in its members rather than chasing profit.
What mattered most. 7-day settlement, no fixed contract and no terminal rental, backed by local support that is easy to reach around the clock.
03 · The Switch
Switching with NEOM, start to finish.
NEOM moved them to Teya with no contract and no terminal rental, removing both the long tie-in and the recurring equipment charge, plus 7-day settlement so money from the bar and events comes through promptly. That flexibility suits the way a community club operates. The switch also reduced their card processing costs by around 40%, freeing up funds that go back into the club and its members, with local 24/7 support always available.
